components are designed using modern 3D-CAD systems. The complementary
hardware and software for active field bus components are created in the

The newly developed products are
subjected to thorough testing. To do this, Lumberg maintains and extensive,
modern development laboratory, complete with equipment for developmental,
quality and compliance testing. For customized inspections and testing, the
company works with a network of laboratories that are fully accredited with
the DIN/EN/ISO/IEC 17025 norm.
Production and
Processes
Lumberg places great value on
achieving the highest level of precision for the entire process chain. From
design to delivery, a quality assurance system accompanies the entire
production process. Lumberg products are 100% quality tested. Complex
function tests are of course standard. Lumberg Automation Components is
certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and DIN EN ISO 14001; OHSAS 18001
has already been introduced.
Manufacturing

connectors or field bus distribution boxes in particular are manufactured in
